A career first for us. "Am I Wasting My Life? is hit #50 on the Canadian Active Rock Charts this week! (that's national, baby)
JANUARY 9, 2012:
The first single "Am I Wasting My Life? is currently #53 on the Canadian Active Rock Charts! Off to a great start. Thanks to Rock 95 in Barrie and The Wolf in Regina who were among the first stations to chow My Sister Ocean some love in 2012!! And we also had our first play in the USA on Detroit's 89X. Thanks to all! (Trivia note: our highest charting single (nationally) was #52 in 2010 - this one almost beat it in its first week!)

SEPTEMBER 1, 2011: MY SISTER OCEAN IS RELEASING 1 SINGLE PER MONTH IN 2012 to radio, iTunes, and mysisterocean.com. The 12 song album will then be released as a physical album (vinyl & CD!) in early 2013, and on iTunes of course.

Older news... Holden won an Edmonton Music Award for Best Video for Mockteerah's "The Long Kiss Goodnight". MSO was also nominated in the same category for "Please Don't Say It's So. MSO rocked GREY CUP FEST 2010 with BIF NAKED and Ian Thornley with BIG WRECK.
MY SISTER OCEAN released ONE SINGLE PER MONTH for 10 MONTHS in 2010. You can also buy the released songs now on iTunes. Oh yeah, and no guitars were used on any of these songs... just bass, drums, and vocals.
